Rental and loss-of-use documentation in Las Vegas
No car, no rental, and nobody has told you that loss of use may be a claim of its own. VICE documents the days, receipts, and repair dates connected to a vehicle that is unavailable.

What’s included
A rental is one record. The days without the vehicle are another.
Loss of use may apply when a vehicle is unusable, even if a rental is not obtained. The documentation needs to show the dates and why the vehicle was unavailable.
- Out-of-service date
- Rental receipts and payments
- Repair delays and approvals
- Calls about the rental clock
- Vehicle-unavailable timeline
- Missing date or receipt checklist
Put the days on paper.
- 01
Send the essentials
Name, mobile, vehicle, and a sentence about the situation. Documents and photos can follow.
- 02
Add what you already have
Estimates, valuation reports, receipts, correspondence, photos. Whatever is on your phone is a fine start.
- 03
See what is missing
VICE organizes the vehicle-side file and tells you which records would strengthen it.
- 04
Get it in writing
Every document VICE prepares is quoted in writing before work starts. The carrier makes the claim decision.

Days without a car deserve a paper trail.
A rental receipt shows one expense; a downtime log shows the period the vehicle could not be used. Start with two facts: when the car went out of service, and where it is now.
VICE Automotive provides documentation, estimates, appraisals, and claim support services only. We are not attorneys and we are not licensed public insurance adjusters. Coverage and claim decisions are made by insurance carriers under your policy terms.

Questions about rental & loss of use
Are you attorneys or public adjusters?
No. VICE prepares documentation, estimates, appraisals, and claim support documents only. We do not offer legal services and we do not act as public adjusters. If your situation is outside what documentation can address, we will say so.
What does the first review cost?
Nothing. The first read of your documents is free. Any document you then ask VICE to prepare is quoted in writing before it is started.
Does VICE decide my claim?
No. Coverage and claim decisions are made by the insurance carrier under your policy terms. VICE makes sure the vehicle side of the file is complete and understandable.
